After 30 years as the head framer for Proctor's Custom Framing in Livermore, CA, I have made the decision to open my own frame shop, located at 2222 Second Street, Suite 2 (in the Old Theater Mall building in Livermore). I look forward to continuing to frame for years to come, as well as developing my handmade jewelry line and commissioned animal portraits. I am in the shop from 11 - 4, Tuesday through Saturday, but I welcome appointments for other days and times as well (just give me a call at (925) 294-0180). I look forward to reconnecting with former Proctor's customers as well as meeting new ones!

What I Offer:
CUSTOM PICTURE FRAMING
I offer beautifully designed custom framing to fit any taste. I specialize in framing needlework and other textiles, but I also do shadowboxes, jerseys, diplomas, mirrors, children's art, historical documents and much more!
ANIMAL PORTRAITS
I am taking commissions for animal portraits. All I require is a high-resolution photograph to base the watercolor on. Prices depend on complexity and size-contact me to discuss details!
HANDMADE JEWELRY
The aesthetic for my jewelry is color and texture. Using freshwater pearls, semi precious stones, and glass beads, I craft earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. I have my jewelry for sale in the shop, but I do take commissions.
AVAILABLE IN-STORE
Selection changes periodically, but I have readymade frames, art, and jewelry on display and for sale in-store.
Examples of What I Do
Here I present a gallery of examples of work I've done, from Custom Framing to watercolor animal portraits to handmade jewelry. I started framing in 1989, the year after I graduated from UC Davis with degrees in Art History and Studio Art. The paintings are a chance for me to combine my art background with my love of animals. I started making jewelry to deal with an enormous stash of beads, but I have continued because I enjoy the craft of it, and it is another way to work with color. If you find inspiration in anything you see here I would love the opportunity to create something perfect for you.
